The Stocktwits Top 25 reports the 25 best-performing stocks in the S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, and Russell 2000 year to date (YTD), and tracks their performances over time.
Here are your Stocktwits Top 25 Lists for Week 18:
ST Top 25 S&P 500
The ST Top 25 S&P 500 list closed green for the seventh week in a row. All 25 names closed the week green. ✅
Nucor traded positive all five days this week to close at all-time highs. $NUE’s 20% gain was enough to edge out $LB for the top spot on the list.
Freeport-McMoRan made the list’s second-biggest move, flying 16.6%. $FCX improved 14 spots from #20 to #6.
4 Freshmen made the list. The companies include;
Hess Corporation, APA Corporation, Exxon Mobil Corporation, and United Rentals.
The Stocktwits Top 25 S&P 500 Momentum Meter ripped 7.22% while the S&P 500 increased 1.23%. The 5.99% differential indicates top stocks outperformed the full index by a large amount.
The Big Cap Nasdaq 100
The ST Top 25 N100 flipped its losing streak and managed a gain. 18 of 25 names closed higher.
eBay eased up 7.15% as the list’s biggest gainer and Freshman. It’s a Winner Below.
Skyworks Solutions slumped 3.4% to close down for the second week in a row. $SWKS moved lowed 7 spots from #15 to #22. It’s a Sinner below.
Three Freshmen made the list. The names are eBay, Texas Instruments, and Gilead Sciences.
The ST Top 25 Nasdaq 100 Momentum Meter gained 1.62% in Week 18 while the full Nasdaq 100 fell 1.02%. The 2.64% differential suggests the top stocks performed a bit better than the full index.
Small-Cap Russell 2000
The ST Top 25 R2K List climbed higher in Week 18.
10 names gained > 10%, there were 20 winners in all.
Rocky Brands Inc ripped 24.4% after reporting Q1 earnings. The footwear company is a Freshman and the Top Dawg of the week.
The MemeStocks, $GME, and $AMC closed 7.19% and 5.18% lower this week as a few of the List’s biggest losers.
8 new stocks appeared on the ST Top 25 Russell 2000 list. The names include $ZEUS, $FNKO, $MTDR, $SIG, $HOME, $PBF, $RCKY, and $VRTV.
The ST Top 25 R2K Momentum Meter moved 6.90% higher while the Russell 2000 index gained 0.23%. The 6.67% differential shows the top stocks were far stronger than the full index.

The ST Top 25 Top Dawg for Week 18, 2021 is #24 N100 – Rocky Brands Inc.
Rocky Brands ripped to new highs this week after reporting Q1 earnings on Tuesday. $RCKY’s 24% gain secured the #24 spot on the ST Top 25 R2K List as a Freshman.
$RCKY opened Wednesday trading 11% higher after the company reported better than expected Q1 results.
EPS: $1.19 vs $0.59 est
Revenue: $87.7M, +57% YoY

△ #15 N100 – eBay bounced back 7.15% after getting shredded in Week 17 on earnings.
$EBAY announced Wednesday that Stefanie Jay has been appointed as Chief Business and Strategy Officer at eBay Inc. Stefanie will lead an organization that integrates strategy, communications, business operations, and analytics in this newly formed position. The position will be effective on May 10, 2021.

The toy and accessories manufacturer posted record Q1 earnings after the market close on Thursday. Funko even raised its full-year EPS target to 98 cents to $1.12.

The Sinners 📉
▼ #22 N100 – Skyworks Solutions skipped leg day and paid the consequences. The semiconductor company closed the week down 3.4% and was the N100 List’s biggest loser. $SWKS fell 7 spots from #15 to #22.

▼ #9 R2K – Organogenesis Holdings closed higher ⅗ days this week but still managed to make the Sinners list. The 5.4% loss bumped $ORGO from #6 to #9 on the ST Top 25 R2K List.
$ORGO has traded in a range from $20 – 24 for most of April. The biotech company will report earnings after the bell next Monday, May 10th.
