The Stocktwits Top 25 reports the 25 best-performing stocks in the S&P 500, Nasdaq 100, and Russell 2000 year to date (YTD), and tracks their performances over time.
Here are your Stocktwits Top 25 Lists for Week 7:
ST Top 25 S&P 500
The ST Top 25 S&P 500 closed green for the second week in a row. 19 of 25 names closed positive.
#1 through #3 remained the same. Rankings #4-6 are inhabited by energy companies. 🔋
HollyFrontier Corp made its way onto the list, hopping 15.25%. The oil company will report earnings next week. $HFC ranks #6.
$FANG fell 5.14% and is the List’s biggest loser. It’s a Sinner below.
7 Freshmen appeared on the list, including $XOM, $FCX, $HFC, and $ZBRA.
The Stocktwits Top 25 S&P 500 Momentum Meter increased 3.12% while the S&P 500 fell 0.71%. The 3.83% differential indicates the top stocks performed particularly well in comparison to the full index’s down week.
The Big Cap Nasdaq 100
The ST Top 25 N100 List hung on by a thread to close green in Week 7. Winners outweighed the losers 14 to 11.

Expedia Group closed at all-timers as a Freshman. It’s ranked #19.
$JD jumped 7%, $EXPE elevated 8.5%, and $TCOM traded 5.35% higher.
4 new names made the list.
The ST Top 25 Nasdaq 100 Momentum Meter increased 1.15% during Week 7 while the full Nasdaq 100 moved 1.64% lower. The 2.79% differential suggests the top stocks have the relative strength versus the full index.
Small-Cap Russell 2000
The ST Top 25 Russell 2000 was a mixed bag in Week 7. A few rippers along with some dippers. 14 names closed green.
#5 and #6, Evolus Inc and NantKwest both ripped higher, up 60% and 26.5% respectively.
Just 4 Freshmen appeared on the ST Top 25 R2K List, a bit below average.
CorMedix climbed 28% in Week 7 and took the #20 ranking on the ST Top 25 R2K List as a Freshman. $CRMD is a Winner below.
$SAVA soared 21%, $FLGT fell 17.50%, and $EXPR took the elevator down 15%.
The ST Top 25 R2K Momentum Meter moved 4.21% while the Russell 2000 index closed down 0.99%. The 5.2% differential suggests that the top stocks beat the full index quite easily.
ST Top 25 TOP DAWG OF THE WEEK 🐶
The ST Top 25 Top Dawg for Week 7, 2021 is #5 R2K – Evolus Inc.
The medical company ripped 60% this week and entered the ST Top 25 R2K list at #5. It’s a Freshman, baby!
$EOLS rallied after its competitors, AbbVie, and Medytox resolved all outstanding litigation. The California court case filed by Medytox against Evolus was thrown out.
The stock naturally opened 48% higher Friday morning and continued to climb, eventually closing the day +71.6%. 🚀

The Winners 📈
△ #6 S&P 500 – HollyFrontier Corporation opened strong this week but closed even stronger. The Freshman hopped 15.25% and claimed the #6 sport on the ST Top 25 R2K List.
$HFC has had one heckuva’ rally since its last earnings report in November of 2020. It’s closed green 9 of the last 14 weeks and gained 112% making it a double. 🥳
On Wednesday, the company announced a regular quarterly dividend of $0.35 per share, payable on March 10, 2021.

$HFC is slated to report earnings pre-market next Wednesday. Maybe we’ll see another impressive quarterly run.
△ #1 N100 – Baidu Inc closed at an all-time high in Week 7. The Chinese internet company reported better than expected earnings on Wednesday leading to an 8.6% weekly gain.
$BIDU topped sales and earnings estimates lead by strength in advertising and AI.
Here are the numbers:
EPS: $3.08 vs $2.62 est.
Revenue: $4.7B, +5% YoY

As we enter 2021, Baidu is well positioned as a leading AI company with strong Internet foundation to seize the huge market opportunities in cloud services, autonomous driving, smart transportation, and other AI opportunities. We also hope to capitalize on our huge Internet reach with more non-marketing services.
$BIDU is up 57% YTD.
△ #20 R2K – CorMedix Inc. We’ll name this one “Mr. Consistent” because it closed green every day this week. The biotech stock made the second biggest move on the ST Top 25 R2K List, climbing 28%. CorMedix is a Freshman, now ranking #20.
$CRMD exploded from $9 to $15 in just four days after being listed on the Nasdaq on February 2nd. The high-flying stock continued to follow through this week closing at $17.58.
$CRMD is up 136.61% YTD.
△ #19 N100 – Expedia Group Inc made a statement this week. Shares of the online travel shopping company closed at all-time highs and debuted on the ST Top 25 N100 List. It’s 8.5% advance earned it the #19 ranking.
$EXPE reported Q4 earnings last Thursday, citing a 67% drop in revenue YoY. Investors didn’t seem bothered as price continued onward following the news.

The Sinners 📉
▼ #2 R2K – ExOne. We must’ve jinxed it. $XONE was highlighted in last week’s Winner section for having closed positive in 7 consecutive weeks. Well, it dropped 19% this week and is the biggest loser in Week 7.
$XONE ranks #2 on the ST Top 25 R2K List for the second week in a row. Thanks to its rally from $9 to $54 in five short weeks, it can afford a minor pullback to support.
Here’s the daily chart finding support at the 21 exponential moving average, a common support level in up trending stocks:
$XONE is up 365% YTD.
▼ #9 S&P 500 – Diamondback Energy dropped a quick 5% in Week 7, forfeiting most of Week 6’s gains. It even managed to worsen its ranking 2x, falling from #4 to #9 on the ST Top 25 S&P 500 List.
$FANG will report earnings after the bell this coming Monday. Diamondback has performed well alongside fellow energy company and Winner above, HollyFrontier Corporation.
