Good evening, folks. Get ready for another wild week on Wall St.

Last week, the S&P 500, Dow Jones Industrial Average, and Russell 2000 all closed at all time weekly highs. Can we continue higher or will we need a breather? Place your bets… 

It’ll be a big one for big box retail. We’ll see earnings from Walmart and Home Depot on Tuesday, Target and Lowe’s on Wednesday, and Macy’s on Thursday. See the calendar below. 

We’re awaiting vaccine trial results from Moderna. The Company said data was coming soon. The market rallied following Pfizer’s results, will it make a big move on Moderna’s numbers? Time will tell.

All Time Highs

Markets broke records last week.

The iShares MSCI ACWI ETF tracks the largest companies in developed and emerging markets. $ACWI gapped up on Monday and retested former highs. Can it go higher? Time will tell.

As mentioned above, 3 of the 4 major US indices closed at new weekly all time highs. The Nasdaq was the odd man out. 

From a US sector standpoint, 6 of the 11 sectors settled at record weekly levels.

153 years ago today, Edward Calahan displayed the first stock ticker to the world.

The invention changed history. Investors now had the ability to get up to the minute prices around the country. Edward opened the floodgates of innovation and Thomas Edison quickly improved the design.
